WINNING ACCOMPLISHMENTS AT
THIRD QUARTER LUNCHEON

Rob Ismael (left) receives Shining Star Award from KRLA Program Director, Craig Edwards

Oct.15.2007 -This quarter’s luncheon, provided by Barn Burner BBQ and KRLA, was in honor of our troops who are giving their lives for our freedom. The KRLA sales team, headed by Mark Pennington and Chet Thompson, rallied the staff to provide items for the troops through Operation Gratitude. The purpose of Operation Gratitude is to encourage and thank the military men and women by sending care packages that contain food, toiletries, entertainment items, such as movies and magazines, as well as letters of appreciation.
Perseverance and commitment was the theme of the third quarter luncheon, as Salem L.A. recognized many of its invaluable employees. Each department gave awards to its employees, thanking them for their dedication to their job. This quarter’s Shining Star recipient went to Rob Ismael, who received a reserved parking space for the next quarter, a $100 gift certificate to the restaurant of his choice, a rotating spot congratulating him on KKLA, KFSH, KRLA, and KTIE, along with his name added to the perpetual list of Shining Star Award winners.
Our Commander-in-Chief, Terry Fahy, closed the luncheon by reminding us that attitude is everything, especially in the mind of a winner and a loser.
