CHIPS FOR KIDS 2007 Campaign

KRLA shared a booth with the CHP outside of the Mattel Outlet store in Pomona.

Dec.23.2007 - For the second year in a row, KRLA partnered with the CHP to help promote their annual toy drive. KRLA was featured on over 5000 poster boards placed in retailers and malls all across the Southland.

Costumes were worn by our own KRLA Promotions Team members David and Blanca while
KCBS 2/KCAL 9 reporter gave a report of the event.

The KRLA booth and our Little People in costumes were featured in four live cut-ins on KCAL 9 TV News. The KRLA logo was also included in over 200 thirty second commercials that aired on KCBS 2 and KCAL 9 TV from December 1st – December 21st.

8000 people…
8000 toys…
4 hours…AMAZING.

KRLA also participated at the JOHN FORCE Car Show and Toy Drive. This annual event attracted over 8000 people over the course of four hours. KRLA, along with the California Highway Patrol, were able to collect 8000 toys! They collected 2000 toys per hour...that's fast!
